Janet McBride likes verbs more than nouns. That’s why she is always in a good mood when she is “doing something” and not stationary. She brings with her 30+ years of work experience in an administrative capacity. In 2007, she established Janet McBride Court Reporting, which, over the past 14 years, has grown into a successful and thriving business in North Louisiana. Ask any attorney along the I-20 corridor and they will confirm that the smallest details always capture her attention. She is skilled at execution and has years of experience in organization, multi-tasking, and time management. She understands the importance of producing and completing projects in a timely manner. Janet is married to Billy McBride, Lincoln Parish Assessor, and they reside in Ruston, Louisiana. When she isn’t counting votes for numerous North Louisiana campaigns, organizing court depositions, and promoting small businesses, she actually relaxes when she is spending time with her grandchildren, Tripp and Harper.
As a recent graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Will Kirkland has landed experience with several area businesses and entrepreneurs. His expertise lies within effective communication through public relations, branding, and marketing. Will began his career as a student worker for Louisiana Tech University, where he drafted student features for the university’s website under the direction of Color Analyst Teddy Allen and the Executive Director of University Communications and Marketing, Tonya Oaks Smith. While there, Will also managed several social media pages for numerous businesses throughout the area. Upon leaving University Communications at Louisiana Tech, Will explored a different route. He was hired by Fairfield Property Management as the Leasing Agent/Social Media Manager for one of the first-ever, newly constructed multi-family apartment homes in Ruston, known as North Village Apartments. After staying with the North Village team for a little more than a year, Will’s passion for what he was studying grew, and he began to explore other options. At the beginning of 2020, Will was offered the chance to take over his family’s land surveying business as president of Boundary Solutions Inc., formerly known as W.G. Kirkland and Associates – a business that has been serving North Louisiana for 30-plus years. While still managing his own business at 23, Kirkland recently joined forces with Adam Terry and Janet McBride at 51 Percent Political Consulting in Ruston, where he holds the title of Communication Strategist. Here, Will gained crucial campaign experience including: three judgeships, one mayoral race, and one race for a seat on the Louisiana Supreme Court. Kirkland now carries over that title to Fragments – A Creative Media Company, where he, Adam Terry, and Janet McBride take fragments of the imagination and make them a reality.
Will’s field of experience lead him to an in-depth knowledge of social media management, public and client relations, marketing and recruiting qualities, as well as original content creation.
